announces a selection procedure for the position of Researchers in Social Life Cycle Assessment at University Institute, Tomas Bata University in Zlin.
The position aims to develop Social Impact Assessment methods such as Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) of energy storage technologies.
What does this position entail?
- Performing Social Life Cycle Assessments (S-LCAs) for energy storage technologies, focusing on their social impacts
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate S-LCA findings with environmental and economic assessments
- Analysing social data related to labour, human rights, and community engagement
- Developing methodologies for assessing social impacts, considering stakeholder perspectives
- Contributing to frameworks and tools for incorporating social considerations into decision-making processes
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related field
- Profound understanding of social impact assessment frameworks and social indicators
- A track record of scholarly publications related to social impact assessment or sustainability
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary research teams
- Prior experience in stakeholder engagement or qualitative research methods would be advantageous.
