Researcher on the project: Comprehensive software platform for green hydrogen certification and routing and fleet management

What can you expect in this position?

• Dealing with research issues in modern development projects.
• Cooperation with the Silesia Green Power s.r.o. company in the areas of optimization and data processing in the desired fields of A.I., green economy, sustainability.
• Participation in the approval of the concept of appropriate SW technologies for the project framework.
• Collaboration with experts from the Faculty of Applied Informatics.

What do we require from you?

• Graduation from master’s or Ph.D. degree programme, no later than 6 years ago (according to the terms of the project’s tender documentation).

• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++ or R.
• The ability to effectively implement algorithms and optimize computational processes.
• A solid understanding of statistics and mathematics (probability, distributions, estimation, and hypothesis tests).
• Advanced mathematical skills, including linear algebra, differential and integral calculus, as well as optimization, will be an asset.
• Knowledge of various tools and frameworks used in machine learning. Experience with tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, or R’s caret is an advantage.
• Ability to evaluate the performance of machine learning models using metrics such as accuracy, bias, ROC curve, etc.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and propose solutions.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and derive relevant insights is of key importance.
• Experience with data pre-processing, including editing, normalization and transformation of datasets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members as well as various stakeholders is important.
• Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to contribute to team projects is a plus.
• Willingness to maintain proficiency and stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in A.I. and machine learning.
• Ability to interpret and visualize model results.
