invites applications for the position of Researcher on the project.

What can you expect in this position?
Dealing with research issues in modern development projects.
Cooperation with the Silesia Green Power s.r.o. company in the areas of optimization and data processing in the desired fields of A.I., green economy, sustainability.
Participation in the approval of the concept of appropriate SW technologies for the project framework.
Collaboration with experts from the Faculty of Applied Informatics.
What do we require from you?
Graduation from master’s or Ph.D. degree programme, no later than 6 years ago (according to the terms of the project’s tender documentation).
Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++ or R.
The ability to effectively implement algorithms and optimize computational processes.
A solid understanding of statistics and mathematics (probability, distributions, estimation, and hypothesis tests).
Advanced mathematical skills, including linear algebra, differential and integral calculus, as well as optimization, will be an asset.
Knowledge of various tools and frameworks used in machine learning. Experience with tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, or R’s caret is an advantage.
Ability to evaluate the performance of machine learning models using metrics such as accuracy, bias, ROC curve, etc.
Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and propose solutions.
Ability to work with large amounts of data and derive relevant insights is of key importance.
Experience with data pre-processing, including editing, normalization and transformation of datasets.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members as well as various stakeholders is important.
Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to contribute to team projects is a plus.
Willingness to maintain proficiency and stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in A.I. and machine learning.
Ability to interpret and visualize model results.
